Why Backlighting Is a Before, Not an After
LED backlighting needs a power source routed to the mirror's exact position, either through concealed cabling behind a recessed wall cavity or a surface-mounted profile — a decision made at the point the mirror itself is fabricated and templated. A true backlit mirror is different: the light source sits behind or within the mirror assembly, illuminating through a diffused edge or perimeter, and that only works when the mirror and the wall behind it are fabricated and installed together as one system.
