A bifolding door replaces a fixed wall or standard sliding door with a run of two to eight glass panels that stack away to one side, giving Dubai villas a full-width opening onto the garden, terrace, or pool deck. Every panel is fabricated from thermally broken aluminium with Low-E double glazing built in, which stops the wide glazed run from turning into a heat source during summer, and the whole system runs on a flush, low-profile floor track rather than a raised threshold.

Corner bifolding configurations (two runs of panels meeting at a glass-to-glass corner with no vertical post) are a popular choice on renovations built around an open-plan indoor-outdoor layout, and insect screens can be built into the track at the same time if the doors will be left open often through the cooler months.
