A bifolding door replaces a fixed wall or standard sliding door with a run of two to eight glass panels that stack away to one side, giving Dubai villas a full-width opening onto the garden, terrace, or pool deck. Every panel is fabricated from thermally broken aluminium with Low-E double glazing built in, which stops the wide glazed run from turning into a heat source during summer, and the whole system runs on a flush, low-profile floor track rather than a raised threshold.

Villa openings in communities such as Arabian Ranches, the Springs, and Dubai Hills commonly take a 5 to 6-panel system across 4 to 6 metres, while smaller balcony or terrace openings in Downtown Dubai and Business Bay apartments work well with a 2 to 3-panel configuration.
