ACP Cladding in Sharjah: Panels Fabricated On Our Own Doorstep

Our workshop is in Al Sajja, which makes Sharjah the emirate where we can move fastest on aluminium composite panel work. Cutting, routing and folding all happen in-house a short drive from most Sharjah sites, so panel schedules can be adjusted mid-programme without a supply chain in between, and a damaged or mis-set panel can be remade the same week rather than reordered. That matters more on cladding than on most trades, because a facade held up by one wrong panel is a facade held up entirely.

The specification discipline is the same as everywhere else we work. External facades get FR mineral-filled core, PVDF coating rather than polyester, and an aluminium sub-frame with a cassette tray fixing so panels remain individually removable. We do not supply polyethylene core for external facade use. Sharjah's building mix leans more industrial and light-commercial than Dubai's, so a lot of our work here is warehouse and factory elevations, workshop fascia, showroom frontage and plant screening, alongside residential tower recladding in the older central districts. We prepare drawings and documentation for Sharjah Municipality and Civil Defence submission as part of the package.

Why Choose Diamond Step in Sharjah?

  • Replacement or revised panels remade in-house without a reorder lead time
  • FR mineral core on every external facade, no PE core supplied
  • PVDF coating specified as standard for colour retention
  • Strong track record on industrial and light-commercial elevations
  • Sharjah Municipality and Civil Defence paperwork prepared for you

ACP Cladding Projects in Sharjah: Industrial Elevations and Tower Recladding

Two kinds of Sharjah job come up repeatedly. The first is industrial: a warehouse, workshop or showroom in the Industrial Area or out near Al Sajja that needs a large, plain, durable elevation, often with a company colour matched exactly and signage integrated into the panel layout. Those jobs live or die on setting-out, because a long unbroken run shows every millimetre of drift in the sub-frame. The second is recladding in the older central districts around Al Majaz, Al Qasimia and Al Khan, where buildings from an earlier era carry cladding that has faded badly or was installed to a core specification that would not be accepted today. On those we survey the existing sub-structure before pricing, since what is behind the old panels is frequently worse than the elevation suggests.

Frequently Asked Questions: ACP Cladding Sharjah

Because the workshop is here. Our fabrication unit is in Al Sajja, so panels for a Sharjah site are cut, routed and folded locally and delivered without an inter-emirate leg. If a panel needs remaking after a site measurement changes, it is a workshop job rather than a reorder, which typically saves days rather than hours on a facade programme.
Not for external facades. The UAE Fire and Life Safety Code requires a fire-rated core, and plain PE core panels do not meet it. Where we are asked to reclad an older Sharjah building that has PE core panels on it, replacing them with FR core is usually the reason the work is being done in the first place.
Yes. PVDF panels are available across the standard RAL range and can be produced to a specific colour reference for larger orders. For industrial and showroom work where the elevation carries brand colour, we confirm the reference against a physical sample before the full order goes into production rather than trusting a printed chart.
Removal of the existing panels and sub-frame, inspection of the substrate for water ingress and corrosion, correction of anything the previous system got wrong, then new aluminium framing set out to surveyed dimensions and new FR core panels fitted. The inspection stage is the one that changes budgets, so we prefer to open up a test area before giving a firm price on a full elevation.
All of them, plus the free zones. We work across the Industrial Area, Al Sajja, Muwaileh and University City, through the central districts of Al Majaz, Al Qasimia, Al Khan and Al Taawun, and up into Al Nahda. Being based here, a site visit is usually available quickly.
Yes. A single shopfront fascia, a canopy, a set of column casings or a signage panel run are all normal work for us, and being local means a small Sharjah job does not carry the mobilisation overhead it would elsewhere.
