Types of Frameless Glass Doors
Frameless Hinged Glass Door
A solid glass panel hung on two or three concealed or exposed glass hinges, with a pull handle or push plate on the face and no other visible hardware. Standard opening widths run 600mm–1,000mm, with heights of 2.1m–3m. It's the frameless glass door we install most often in UAE residential and commercial interiors.
Frameless Glass Pivot Door
This door rotates on a top and floor pivot hardware set, usually offset from the edge, so it sweeps open in one dramatic movement rather than swinging on a fixed side. We install it most in entrance vestibules, home office entries, and between living areas in UAE luxury villas, with panels up to 1.2m wide and 3m+ tall.
Frameless Sliding Glass Door
The panel runs on a top-hung track with a bottom guide, so there's no door swing to plan around. It suits spaces where a swinging door would eat into the room (ensuites, wardrobes, study-to-living connections), and moves silently thanks to a soft-close damper.
