A glass balustrade transforms a staircase from a functional element into a design statement. Diamond Step® installs glass balustrades across Abu Dhabi for villa staircases, upper-floor landings, pool fencing, balconies, and mezzanine levels. All installations use a minimum of 12mm toughened or 13.52mm toughened-laminated safety glass certified to UAE and international structural standards.
We offer frameless channel systems (the cleanest finish — no visible posts), stainless-steel post systems, and hybrid glass-and-handrail configurations. All hardware is marine-grade stainless steel, powder-coated aluminium, or architectural brass — built to resist Abu Dhabi's salt air and UV exposure.
Glass balustrades and pool fencing are common requests from villa owners in Khalifa City, Saadiyat Island, and Yas Island, where large private gardens and swimming pools are the norm. Diamond Step installs frameless glass pool fencing, structural glass staircase balustrades, and glass balcony railings using toughened or laminated glass panels designed to meet Abu Dhabi municipality safety requirements. All balustrade systems are engineered to comply with UAE building regulations for barrier height and glass thickness.
For high-rise balconies in Al Reem Island and Corniche apartments, we install glass balcony infill panels that maximise views while meeting structural requirements. LED-integrated glass railings are available for villa staircases and feature walls. The Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal and Transport (ADMT) may require approval for balcony structural modifications; Diamond Step provides technical drawings at quotation stage. All fabrication is in-house at our Al Sajja workshop; site visits to Abu Dhabi are free of travel surcharge.
